A romantic, wonderfully informal garden where wildness and cultivation coexist. About half the garden is planted with natives, mingling with roses, dahlias, vegetables, berries, fruit, herbs, and tropicals. Plants reseed and spread naturally, creating connections between the perennial beds, potager, rose garden, and meadow. Rustic fencing, a barn, and a small pond bring structure to the abundance.

I like to think of my garden as a lady's garden that let itself go a while back, yet in its abandon, still manages to be quite ravishing at times. As an organic farmette–or small farm.
