Been working on this standard 8000 square foot suburban plot since 2015. I started with intensive food production, but realized right away that native plants were an important part of the system and have continued to add more and more over the years. I also grow lots of medicinal plants. Best is when a plant is native, food, and medicine all at once, such as blueberries. Chicken driven composting and rain water collection are important elements. I’m madly in love with this property.
