We are actively restoring our north-facing oak savanna slope. Our property features several mature oak trees and was blanketed in buckthorn when we moved in during December 2016. Since then, we have removed all the buckthorn, continuously monitored and cleared other invasive plants, planted over 5,000 native plugs, and cast countless pounds of seed. With restoration well underway, we are now focusing on agriwilding by adding fruit and nut trees, more berry shrubs and perennial vegetables.
