Sairies Prairie

I want my kids to grow up, turning over leaves, watching caterpillars, finding toads, noticing what’s blooming, and knowing that our little patch of ground is home to a lot more than just us. I started gardening here in 2023, where cornfields dominate the landscape. Luckily, there is an 80-acre recreated tallgrass prairie nearby reminding me of what this place can actually do. I’m slowly making our little lot more alive patch by patch with mixed results and excellent intentions.
